ODD BLASTS DESPERATE SMEAR CAMPAIGN, DENIES ANY INDUCEMENT, DECLARES APC A COLLAPSING HOUSE
Osun Democrats for Democracy (ODD) dismisses in the strongest possible terms the reckless, and fictional allegations peddled by a group of political jobbers styling itself as the Osun Central Elite Caucus over imaginary payments to Alhaji Moshood Adeoti.
Let it be stated clearly without missing words that no kobo of state resources, no inducement, no secret arrangement, and no backdoor transaction exists. The allegation is false, malicious, and deliberately crafted to distract from the visible implosion within the opposition ranks.
The opposition, particularly the APC, is a party in visible decline. It's old pillars are sidelined, silent, and walking away. It's so-called stakeholders are divided beyond repair. The house is cracking, and instead of repairing it, they are busy inventing bedtime stories about the formidable Accord.
When a political party begins to hemorrhage members, and lose internal cohesion, the easiest strategy is to cry foul and manufacture conspiracy theories. That is exactly what is playing out.
Governor Ademola Adeleke does not need to “rehabilitate” anyone. He is leading a government that stands on its own record. The suggestion that he must buy relevance is an insult not only to him but to the intelligence of the Osun electorate.
Those who speak of “political desperation” should first confront their own shrinking influence. A party that cannot manage its elders, cannot resolve its internal distrust, and cannot inspire its own base has no moral authority to question others.
Osun people are politically aware. They can see clearly who is governing, and who is panicking. They can identify who is building stability, and who is clutching at propaganda to mask internal decay.
We challenge the accusers to provide one shred of credible evidence. Not whispers. Not anonymous briefings. Not recycled rumors. Evidence. Anything short of that confirms this as what it truly is; a cheap attempt to stain the image of a Governor whose growing acceptance is unsettling the opposition.
Osun Democrats for Democracy will not dignify every baseless rant with extended debate. However, we will not allow falsehood to circulate unchecked.
Osun APC is dancing naked at the market square. Yesterday, they celebrated an Srj named "Olundu", and his co-political liabilities. Today, it's fictional allegation.
