It was celebration in grand style yesterday as residents of Sabo/Agbongbe Ward 7 gathered in large numbers to receive their Leader, role model and quintessential mentor, Hon. Ridwan Wale Ayofe Abinuwaye, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on O’Signage, Hoarding and Advertisement Agency, who paid a special visit to the immediate people of his electoral ward.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement as party leaders and faithful trooped out to welcome him warmly. The visit quickly transformed into a moment of gratitude and solidarity, reflecting the strong bond between the grassroots and their representative.
In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Abinuwaye donated food items worth millions of naira alongside cash donations. The gesture was not limited to his ward alone, as he extended the ritual gift to some other wards across the local government and to other notable private individuals within the state. The donations were described by beneficiaries as timely and thoughtful, especially in a period that calls for compassion, sharing and community support.
Addressing the gathering of esteemed party faithfuls, Hon. Abinuwaye charged members to work very hard to ensure the revalidation of the mandate freely given to our Principal, H.E. Senator Dr. Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, beyond 2026. He stressed the importance of unity, commitment and strategic mobilization at the grassroots level.
He noted clearly that Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke remains our Candidate, and Accord is the platform and vehicle that will convey Osun people to the next enviable level amidst the comity of states in Nigeria. According to him, the mission ahead requires collective responsibility and unwavering loyalty to the party structure.
Hon. Abinuwaye also laid emphasis on the Thumb as our party logo, urging members to remain consistent in promoting and identifying with the symbol across their communities. He further eulogised the efforts of Alhaj Kazeem Kolapo Akinleye Omo Olohunde as our team captain, describing him as a leader with a clear mission to fulfil Imole leekansi accordingly.
The event ended on a note of renewed confidence, with party faithful reaffirming their dedication to the cause and expressing optimism about the journey ahead.
