Minister of suggestions, Mohammed Idris, has emphasised the federal government's dedication to upholding press freedom and freedom of expression, stating that there could be no try to stifle the clicking.

On the suggestion of registering journalists, he stated that: "well, it is being looked at, you recognize that Mr. President believes in press freedom. He believes within the freedom of expression, and he's no longer going to gag the press in any method, shape or form.
"He's going to work assiduously to make sure that the Nigerian press that has been free is even freer.
"This freedom also comes with enormous accountability. that you can't simply say what isn't appropriate, since you're enjoying press freedom. There'll be freedom. but it surely's a dependable freedom."
