President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has permitted Mr Shaakaa Chira's appointment because the substantive Auditor-general of the Federation.
Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale announced this in an announcement on Friday.
He referred to the appointment became made to pastime powers vested in Tinubu by means of part 86 of the 1999 constitution (Amended).
Ngelale spoke of the president accepted Chira's appointment after the Federal Civil provider commission carried out a screening undertaking that identified him because the most certified candidate who had additionally scored the maximum within the examination amongst all eligible candidates for the office.
"President Bola Tinubu expects the new Auditor-standard to justify the confidence reposed in him and to live as much as the high expectations that Nigerians have concerning the execution of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration," the remark brought.
