Osun Youth Leaders Activate Statewide Engagement Structure for Governor Adeleke’s Re-election
● Youths Close Ranks for Continuity, Warn Against Return to Failed Order
● 500,000 Youth & Student Votes Projected as Issue-Based Mobilization Goes Statewide

OSOGBO – April 27, 2026

The Osun Youth Leaders Engagement 2026; a strategic engagement of the Youth Wing of Accord, Osun State Chapter has triggered the activation of a unified, statewide engagement structure in firm support of the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The development marks a decisive consolidation of youth and student forces across Osun State, with leaders signaling a clear political direction anchored on issues, performance, and continuity, rather than propaganda and empty rhetoric.

Rising from the engagement, youth leaders delivered a firm message that the 2026 election will be driven by issues that directly affect the people, including youth inclusion, economic opportunities, infrastructure, and governance that is accessible and responsive.

They noted that Governor Ademola Adeleke stands as the most youth-friendly Governor since the creation of Osun State, emphasizing his administration’s track record in opening up governance, engaging young people, and creating space for participation.

The youth leaders also issued a strong vow to protect the mandate of the people, declaring that votes cast by young people and citizens across Osun State will be defended through coordinated vigilance, lawful participation, and active engagement throughout the electoral process.

With structures now activated across all local governments, the movement is shifting into full-scale mobilization to drive grassroots engagement, voter readiness, and disciplined messaging across communities and campuses.

Osun youth and students leaders disclosed that the ongoing mobilization is projected to deliver no fewer than 500,000 votes from youth and student constituencies alone, reinforcing the growing electoral strength of organized young people.

Observers note that this level of coordination presents a clear electoral challenge to opposition elements, as issue-based campaigning gains traction and youth participation becomes more structured and deliberate.

As host, the Accord Youth Rangers reiterated that the movement is focused, and committed to ensuring that the will of the people prevails, stressing that the election will be determined by organization, participation, and vigilance.

With momentum building, the message from Osun’s youth remains direct; the focus is on issues, the structure is in place, votes will count, and will be protected.
